"Follow the evidence, wherever it leads" 

I have always worked for the State or international organizations in the public domain. Basically, I have always wanted to serve the common interest, that of humanity. 

But the management structures in which I was able to evolve made me understand that the executives and those who lead them do not have as a priority to make triumph the Truth or the Common Good. It is more often the opposite. For middle managers, the priority objective is the rise in rank, or at least the preservation of their status, which implies that they must please, or not displease, their superiors. As for the latter, senior officials or politicians, these people no longer serve the State as the representation of peoples, but they are too often the zealous lackeys, or useful idiots, of the merchant elites who rule the world. 

J'ai toujours travaillé pour l'Etat ou des organisations internationales du domaine public. Dans le fond, j'ai toujours voulu servir l'intérêt commun, celui de l'humanité. 

Mais les structures de management dans lesquelles j'ai pu évoluer m'ont fait comprendre que les cadres et ceux qui les dirigent n'ont pas comme priorité de faire triompher la Vérité ni le Bien commun. C'est plus souvent l'inverse. Pour les cadres intermédiaires, l'objectif prioritaire est la montée en grade, ou a minima la préservation de leur statut, ce qui induit qu'il leur faut plaire, ou ne pas déplaire, à leurs supérieurs. Quant à ces derniers, les hauts fonctionnaires ou les politiciens, ces gens-là ne servent plus l'Etat en tant que représentation des peuples, mais ils sont trop souvent les valets zélés, ou les idiots utiles, des élites marchandes qui gouvernent le monde.
